Some vision problems cannot be corrected with normal eyeglasses or contact lenses. Retinal diseases, inoperable cataracts, or age related conditions may dim vision and alter day-to-day life. Our low vision care uses a patient-caring approach to maximize existing vision and improve the quality of life.
Our low vision services include personal counseling, microscopic and telescopic aids, television and computerized reading systems. Often the cause of the loss of vision cannot be cured, but working in conjunction with physicians, occupational counselors, and government agencies, our goal is to utilize the remaining vision to its fullest potential.
